In 2023, RANSS and RPCF held a consultation to find out what the community felt was important to them in terms of the All Ages Autism Strategy. From this, the current strategy was created.
Now, we have been asked to continue gathering your voice to influence a co-produced "Delivery Plan" to ensure the All Ages Autism Strategy is being met.

The Government began reviewing the Autism Act 2009 to see how well it is working currently, as well as looking at how the All-Age Autism Strategy is working, this enquiry wan run by the Autism Act 2009 Committee. We took part in helping to collect your voice to submit to this review.
March - May 2025
As part of our ongoing commitment to the All Age Autism Strategy Delivery Plan, we reached out to neurodivergent individuals to ensure the priorities identified in our 2023 consultation still resonated with you.
Feedback was shared with commissioners in April 2025, guiding them on what the community wants to focus on first.
54 people responded to our Priorities Check-in Survey, thank you so much for taking part! The top three priorities voted by you were: Mental Health, Information & Advice and Autism Diagnostic Process. Report coming soon.
As part of our All-Age Autism Strategy Delivery Plan project we've been gathering your voice at groups, through surveys and one to one to find out your views and experiences in Rotherham.
Now we're inviting you to use your creativity to share your voice with art!
We’d love you to draw, write, make and create in any way to share your experiences and are hoping to show selected works in an art exhibition at the opening of our new premises at Eric Manns! (date to follow).
We're also using Discord as a platform to communicate and share ideas with eachother and we'd love you to join. If you're already part of the Online Gaming Groupyou can access this on the same server.
Contact Ellie to receive a link to join the online community and an “ideas & prompts pack” to help get your inspiration flowing. If you have any other questions about getting involved please just ask.
We're encouraging people of all ages to get involved with the Creative Voice project so if you have children/young people that want to get creative and share their voice please get them involved! (Please note the online community via Discord is for 18+ only).

Rotherham’s All Age Autism Strategy sets out a vision for all people with autism, to have the same opportunities as anyone else to live rewarding and fulfilling lives whatever their age. This vision is shared by all public, voluntary and independent organisations that have worked together to develop the strategy.
